My Teaching Experience

I am a dedicated bilingual professional with over a decade of teaching experience, currently serving as a STEAM Teacher (K-5) for Rio Rancho Public Schools. My background includes a Master’s Degree in Science from New Mexico Tech and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Science and Technology from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. I hold a Professional NMPED Educator License Level II and have completed extensive specialized training, including the USNA STEM Educator Training, Supercomputing Challenge workshops, and the National Institute for STEM Education certification.

Flight Experience

My flight experience includes hands-on research conducted during a Zero-G parabolic flight on May 6, 2025, where I managed microgravity experiments(CUBESAT project). Additionally, I have experience with high-altitude data collection through the launch of 13 CubeSats via hot air balloons. My technical foundation is further supported by my early career as an Assistant Engineer for the Tren Urbano Project, where I managed technical requirements, CAD drawings, and data analysis for complex transit systems.

Flight Experiment Experience

I have worked extensively with Teachers in Space on the CubeSat project, leading students in building, coding, and launching devices to collect real-world data on temperature, humidity, and magnetic fields. Most notably, I developed and designed the comprehensive "CubeSat Curriculum: Building, Coding, and Flight" for grades 4–12, which is currently hosted on the Teachers in Space website to support educators nationwide in implementing NGSS-aligned space science.
